This event is a costumes-optional a non-profit benefit for Peace in the streets of the city, with several stages of simultaneous live music and entertainment. Eco-Initiatives
Green Vending - Several of the food vendors featured 100% organic food and beverages, as well as re-usable or biodegradable dishes and cutlery.
Alternative Energy - Generators for this event were powered using B100 Biodiesel.
Runs on Biofuel - part of a truck mural Community Education and EduTainment - Sustainable Living Roadshow (SLR) brought a biofuel-powered touring truck, which was painted with an eco-message mural live at the event. SLR also provided the Eco-Circus, with environmentally-themed carnival games and info.
Symbiosis and Earthdance collaborated to provide a teepee space with workshops and speakers on topics such as Ethanol Fuels.
Green Printing - Flyers for this event were printed on 100% recycled paper, using non-toxic inks, from a wind-powered printer.
